Holly has become the third female in history to have been married. Holly's first marriage was to actor Danny Quinn. The couple got married in 1991, and divorced two years later in 1993. Jim Carrey met her in 1994 at his Ace Ventura Pet Detective auditions. Although she was not given the part, they formed a close relationship when filming Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. The marriage was only a short time before they split up at the end of the year 1997. The year 2001 saw Holly got married to Francis Greco. A Canadian native, Greco was an investor banker. After marrying to Greco in 2008, Holly-Greco became an Canadian. They divorced in 2014. Holly and her three children live in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant Grant's family along with the Hobart William Smith Colleges established an A Fund to honour her brother Alexander. Holly stated that Alexander "was an individual who had many hopes, dreams and goals". In 1992, Holly her father Grant, and their families established the A Fund at William and Hobart Smith Colleges in memory of Alexander who, according to Holly "was an individual who was full of dreams, hopes, and plans."

Alaina is born November 8, 1994 in the home of Kristy and J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. The father of Alaina, an engineer from Tennessee, began singing at age three. The first time she sang before a crowd was with a local kids' choir. Her next public appearances included an annual holiday destination that had karaoke. She performed in churches and restaurants, as well as holidays with family and any other gathering within 30 miles of the place she resided. Alaina aged of 8, won her first prize in the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. She was then selected to sing on the Kids Stage of Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The festival allowed the contest on its main stage when she was 12 because she been performing there each year. When she was ten, she traveled from Florida to Orlando to participate at the American Model and Talent Competition. She was able to beat more than 1500 children during the contest. Alaina was a singer with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's kids' group. The first time she visited Nashville was when she was of 12 years old. She performed at local bars in Broadway, such as Tootsie's. Alaina, who was born in 1989, was the winner of the WinniSTAR talent competition for youngsters who live at Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina's cousin Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer. This inspired her to start singing. Before Idol, Alaina worked at CiC's Pizza. She went to Lakeview-FortOglethorpe High School located in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, in which she played cheerleading.
