Katarina is a native of Staaken on the 3rd December 1965. As she seeks out new opportunities, she constantly opens up new areas of work to herself, and has gained experience with various areas of figure skating, producing performing, presenting, acting, and writing. After 1998's World Championships Katarina Witt ends her successful professional career at present. The following three-year period she will be co-headlining her first professional appearance in Canada as well as the United States alongside World Champion Brian Boitano. Due to the popularity of the program, "Witt and Boitano Skating" and the fact the reason Madison Square Garden is now completely sold out for the premiere figure skating show in New York in 10 years. She returns as a competitor to the Olympic Games at Lillehammer, 1994 for her third appearance. Then, for 10 years she tours North America as the star of "Champions on Ice","Champions on Ice, "Stars on Ice","Stars on Ice "Champions on Ice Tour" and other shows of figure skating. Additionally, she participates in a variety of professional international events. Her own production company WITHWITT is behind a number of internationally ice-show productions she produces, develops as well as headlines. It is the pioneer in the skate production business, producing shows such as "Divas of Ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy Stars and Winter Magic", for US TV and German Television.
